Life and learning is a journey rather than a destination. I believe my duty is to encourage, empower, engage, and be empathic with all people.
One of my biggest needs is connection. My intention is to get know people where they are in that moment, and meet them there with an open mind. I believe if I am vulnerable and honest, those around me will also find comfort in communicating with me. In education and academics, I have honed my expertise in project-based learning (Super and Every Day Heroes and Chocolate Project), social-emotional learning (Positive Discipline and Restorative Practices), and student-centered learning (Constructivist, inquiry-based). Post-grad, I have continued my education and am an Educational Therapist, encapsulating all I've learned into a practical daily approach. |
